    Thanks David, that's brilliant, did you sort the wire belt issue ok? If you have any tips initially please let me know, if I'm still a bit scared of doing it, could I pop round one day for a hand?

    Well it's taken me a while to pick up the courage to have a go, I spent a few hours this evening fiddling around inside. A few hairy moments, lost the little clip that held the annoying pulley with the metal wire twice but finally got the belts on. Fired up, pressed open/close and...



    ...


    ...


    The drawer opened nicely, took a CD and played it in seconds. Result, my quite pricey gamble on the faulty machine has paid off!
