    Hi Lawrence,
I did this recently on the same machine and I'm based in Wimbledon, south west London.
Let me know if you need help,
    David

Thanks David, that's brilliant, did you sort the wire belt issue ok? If you have any tips initially please let me know, if I'm still a bit scared of doing it, could I pop round one day for a hand?

Hi Lawrence, I'll post a link to my Website where I describe what I did. I will be away for a week or so, so depends if you are in a hurry. It's really not as bad as it seems. You can give me a ring Tuesday onwards our if you can't wait.

Well it's taken me a while to pick up the courage to have a go, I spent a few hours this evening fiddling around inside. A few hairy moments, lost the little clip that held the annoying pulley with the metal wire twice but finally got the belts on. Fired up, pressed open/close and...

The drawer opened nicely, took a CD and played it in seconds. Result, my quite pricey gamble on the faulty machine has paid off!
