Default FS: Sennheiser Momentum Over Ear headphones in ivory

These are amazing sounding headphones, I'll admit they are my favourites of all the Sennheisers I've heard, warm and balanced, detailed not bright and with nice enveloping bass that doesn't overpower. The build quality is excellent too with real leather headband and earpads, no scrimping here. I should point out that "over ear" means it sits nicely on the ear, it's not "around ear". I'm not sure what the cheaper "on ear" variety are like, they are a bit smaller than these.

Originally £260, and rated the best in the price range at the time by several reviewers, I'm asking only £60 collected from London/plus postage as they have a few marks shown and the stitching on the headband has come loose at one end, although it doesn't affect them in any way, the leather isn't coming away or anything. It comes with the standard (non remote) cable but I recommend a good one from eBay for £10 that's an upgrade.

Forgot to say, they are closed back and pretty good at blocking out sound. They still manage to sound more "open" than most closed headphones I have heard.

Oh I see, ivory, had to look that up. Did you hear about that old piano going through customs in NZ?

Yes, that's what prompted my post.

A colleague of mine in Malawi went to Ethiopia for a job interview a couple of years back. She is a British nurse married to a Malawian. She was arrested at the airport and imprisoned by the Ethiopian authorities! Her crime? Wearing a vintage ivory jewellery piece given to her by her husband.

I am totally against any trade in ivory and pro the destruction of any new ivory merchandise. However, it is not illegal to possess "historical" ivory. I'm sure that many people travel internationally with "legal" ivory but they would probably be safer leaving it at home.

I'll do these for £50 collected/plus postage before I list them elsewhere.

Which is the replacement cable you would recommend?

This one, I've got one on my black pair. I'd sell them if someone prefers (with the stock cable) but as they are in excellent condition I'd want £75.
