Default Jethro Tull Steven Wilson Vinyl

Have any of you bought the VINYL Tull albums Songs From the Wood and Heavy Horses? Reading reviews on Amazon mostly gives reviews of CD versions, which is as much use as a chocolate teapot. Any input gratefully received.

I have the CDs of SW's Aqualung and Heavy Horse remixes.

The Aqualung remix is very, very good indeed. SW managed to bring a bit of depth and colour to what was a very dry sounding recording.
The Heavy Horses remix is a little different, but the original mix had very little wrong with it to start with. I think the original was good enough to start with, whereas Aqualung definitely needed some improvement work.

Can't help with your query but I must say Heavy Horses is an absolute masterpiece of musicianship and song writing.
Songs from the Wood seems to get more accolades and whilst it is an excellent album it's not a patch on HH imho.

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.
