Default Good Day! Hello from an SX-1250 owner!

    Hi All,

Joining the ranks of this forum to gain an insight into Audio ownership as well as some help along the way.
I've just become the proud owner of a Pioneer SX-1250 Receiver so will have questions shortly to ask.
If there are any other SX-1250 owners out there I'd love to hear from you.
I love listening to all types of music and am especially interested in various types of Jazz.

My system now consists of the 'Monster' SX-1250 with a Rega RSD 2018 Turntable (bargain of the century!) a Sony CDP-101 CD Player and a Pioneer Double Cassette Player.

Looking forward to getting involved with you all!

    DillyDilly!!

    Hello Mel. Welcome to AOS.

There are quite a few fans of vintage Japanese receivers here, so maybe somebody will have info for you.

As you may have seen, there's quite a lot going on, so just join in any chat that interests you.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.

Welcome from another SX1250 and Sony CDP101 owner. There is a load of information on the '1250 on the Audiokarma site from very genned up people, including full restoration/refurbishment.Mine does not get a run out now -the bugger is too heavy for the support I have Cheers and welcome again Mick

    Hi Mel

Have fun on the forum , Vintage hifi rocks although you need to ditch the Pioneer Double Cassette Player.
