Although developed for the domestic market, the Denon DP-100M (a Denon DP-100 fitted in a bespoke plinth) was intended to be a valid competitor to the EMT 950 in professional broadcast studios.


Or, as mere caprice, I would try to seek out an EMT 927D (a precision built 927 for laboratory use with a glass slip platter, replacing the acetate slip platter) or an EMT 929F (capable of supporting two 12" arms); both with modern arms of my choosing.
