    Went down to the shop earlier on and I had to zip up my jacket. It's like coming back from a month in the tropics, I'm not used to it only being 20C!

    Forecast for here shows cloudy, max temps of 20c for the next week or so. Not much in the way of rain, though.

    Well it’s a steady 31 degrees down here at the moment. So far this weekend we’ve cleaned out the fishpond, I’ve cut all the hedges down the drive and we’ve made a start on clearing out the garage, and taken three loads of tat to the dump.

    Time for a shower and a beer now, I think!
