Really like the raised planter... that's given me something to think about for my back garden.
    Well done mate

I would love a garden like that at the moment it is a building site ( just had dumped 14 ton of topsoil for lawn) JCB and dumper truck to spread . They think it will be September by the time they finish

I'm absolutely a totally novice gardener! But I've been told that a high planter makes it difficult for slugs. I've also placed some paper cups in the soil with beer in them to attract any. But I've not seen any so far. Which is good, maybe it's beginners luck!

Coffee grounds(rough) around your plants. And an added benefit is that they will leach nutrition into soil for better plants.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Nice work Ben! I like the shed design, and the extended roof / sun shade. Integrating the shed into the deck is also an interesting touch....looks great.

I see you have a Weber smoker - good one! That reminds me to fire ours up soon, as it's been too long idle.

    Enjoy!

Good spot dude, yep love the Webber. We probably cook on it 4 to 5 times a week on it throughout the summer. Just had a lovely grilled swordfish on it tonight
