    Default Rogers JR149 Mk1 Speakers

I am selling my Rogers JR149 MK1 speakers with Teak finish.

These are great little speakers in full working order. They could be considered large bookshelf speakers, or small stand mounts.

    Dimensions:

    Diameter 23cm.
    Height 37.8cm.
    They weigh 6.1kg each.

When I first heard these speakers I was impressed with how good and loud they sounded for something that has a small footprint.
I'm only selling them now because I have a pair of Celestion Ditton 44's which are about 3 times the size.

I fitted unbalanced XLR tails to them, with a bare wire extension.
There is a small amount of wear / evidence of a historic cup or vase mark to the top of one of them which is not obvious at usual viewing distance (it was like this when I got it).

One of them has a small crease in the base which was like that when I bought them, and again, not obvious unless you view them from below.
I have included a picture of this below.

I am looking for £450 for them (which I what I paid 8 years ago).
I would prefer payment by bank transfer or cash.

They would need to be picked up from Bristol BS7 (5 minutes from the M32) - I'm not willing to post these.
    They can be heard working.

    Many thanks.
    Nick

I also have a pair of JR150s in walnut which I will be listing for sale soon. Both are excellent speakers for their size.
Two JR150s at the front and a pair of 149’s at the back make for a great quadraphonic set up if you are so inclined!

Hi Nick, I had a pair of these and they really are excellent but if I were you I'd stick them on Pink Fish Media as there's a huge following on there for them especially seeing that you also have the 150s too.
