I like it too! What cartridge are you using? Have you done any work? Like rewire the tonearm? Which model is that tonearm? What are you using for a phono preamp? What record is that you’re playing? Do you ever use a clamp?

    It’s most impressive!

Which are the other two then?

I'd have the PS X9 and often lusted after the PS-8750

One PS-X9 and one Biotracer PS-B80. To be fair, the TTS-8000 was a better sounding deck than the PS-B80 but the latter is superb in its own right, plus it’s the original Biotracer - and it works!

    That's some question!

The cartridge is an Audio Technica Art-1. I use two amps, both with phono stages; the Lentek and Denon PMA-850 which were both high-end at the end of the 1970's.

The arm is an SME IV with external wiring from Audio Origami.

The album playing is the latest by Jono McCleery.

I do use a clamp and I use the SDS Isoplatmat as the platter mat.

“Inquiring minds what to know!”, thanks, sounds top notch, and it’s a fine looking setup.

I listened to a few songs on YouTube from Jono McCleery, and he’s quite good!
