Anyhow - got it all screwed together. Bunged some feet on (took about 5 minutes to make) and hooked up to the mains and the phono stage and so far, so good :grin:
Just got a slight rumble on the drive so will look for my perspex line-up tool and make sure it is correct but happy with the sound so far - a few action pics :wink:

Ps. Andy, that platter rim edge could do with some T-Cut + rag + elbow grease...will come up looking pucker!

When it arrived my wife said "did you see it before you bought it", to which I replied yes, she then said "hmm" - she wasn't taken with the very light finish but now it's all together and the wood oiled she is happy with it now
Still a few things to do (may even double platter it yet) before its totally finished but sounding very nice.
