Does anyone know a UK outlet for tape machine drive belts..they always seem to be abroad & your waiting ages for the parts.

    Also replacements pinch rollers service!

Andr'e - it might be worth dropping Alex Nikitin on here a PM. He's had a lot of experience restoring old tape decks and may be able to recommend some reliable sources of replacement parts.

I'd second that. If there's anyone who will know a source for the parts required (assuming he doesn't already have them himself of course), then it's Alex.

Thanks guys it's just when i buy something in i like to give it the run over, i change the bets & rollers regardless of if they need them or not, ordering abroad gets a bit long drawn.

Great photo & depiction of your 'stripes', Nick - have you been saving that one up?
