GOOD player??

Arguably the best foreign player ever to grace Scottish football, and WORLD CLASS!! My favourite Celtic player of all time too, although Jinky would be in there - just a bit before my time to have seen the best of him.

However, if Larsson comes, he won't be here to play... Coaching-wise, I don't know, although his managerial record is nothing to shout about. However, for me, him and Lennon could bounce off each other well, and player wise, the name would certainly make signing for Celtic quite a bit 'sexier'.

We'll see what happens

Yup very open to opinion. There's been a few good uns over the years.

Well, I wouldn't class English as 'foreign', so that rules out Gazza, whom in my opinion was one of the few genuinely world class players to grace Scottish football.

Other than that, for me, only Laudrup could lace Larsson's boots, world-class wise. Nakamura and Moravcik also come into that category. Who else would you suggest?

George Best was the best, although he was passed his best(there's that name again).
Yup on natural ability gazza would pip most. Lubo would be my pick from Celts followed by larsson. Laudrup is up there too.
The guy latapy was top drawer too


I suppose Caniggia of Argentina would have get a mention too. He got 50caps when they were one of the best nations

Personally I thought Lubo was a great player and if you include Irish players, that would bring in Robbie Keen who was not too shabby at finishing.

Had the pleasure of seeing Best play, what a player but past his best up here.

As for the Rangers, Gaza truly world class, there were also a couple of Dutch boys who were not bad players.

Also Laudrup was pretty decent.

For those with good memories Dundee also had a decent Italian striker on their books for awhile.

We were lucky at times as England were out of Europe. But yes all the Dutch lads like van bronkhorst, Newman, de boer oh and big stephan Kloss of Germany in goal. Celtic had majalby, hokijonk and Petrov. Nakamura etc.
