Yeah think he probably would have. Certainly his recent record was good since losing to us they have played well In Scotland. Europe was too much of a stretch for them but if a few players had been fit for first tie you never know

We will never know. Still I don't blame him for going if he felt he had to. Celtic are in a good place in league etc. If his successor can't win league from there then something is far wrong.
