Nah, the game will be as tight as a gnat's arse.... I see it as a 'must win' game for Rangers, if they have aspirations of winning the title (especially with Celtic due to strengthen their squad in a major way during the January transfer window), so they certainly have the incentive of 'wanting/needing it' most, as long as the players take that attitude onto the pitch...
However, Celtic (and BR) have a habit of winning the BIG games (cup finals and key league games) - the ones that *really* matter - and they'll be wanting to end on a high for the winter break, so that's why I think it'll be tight.
The question you have to ask yourself though, is if you were offered being second in the SPL at the end of December, only 3 points behind Celtic, and with the chance to go level in the next match, before the season kicked off, would you have taken it?
It's all about making progress on where you were before Gerrard arrived....

I think Gerrard has learned a great deal about the players that were brought in, we have a striker that has already scored 20 goals, but he needs support. With the injuries the squad looks very light, we badly need a creative midfield player. Not really bothered about the result on Saturday, we are ahead of where I thought we would be but we need to much more consistent.

lol was just about to...
.. as i said before, all i expected, and hoped was we would make second place our own and be reasonably close to first place at end of season. At moment we are probably ahead of that, but only because Celtic have stuttered, partly due to the other sides all raising their game as well.
Hibs, Hearts(early in season), Aberdeen(now), Killy and now Saints have all done very well and the points have been shared around quite well, making it a much better league.
Question is, can any or all of these sides continue to play at this level for second half of season? Probably not, and Celtic will motor away a bit. Celtic are still the team, although not as dominant as they were(all things fade), and I expect them to win league, but hopefully not by double figures.
