Well we did it and won 2-1!

I'd say that was our best/most complete performance of the season so far, against a *very* good Bundesliga team. We could've easily scored a couple more. Let's remember too, that we were without the likes of Brown and Ntcham - two players who would walk into any team in Scotland, and also many in England!

However, what a difference it makes when Benkovic is in the heart of our defence and plays alongside Boyata - a luxury we've only had so far in this competition against Rosenborg. The assuredness and solidity he provides in our defence gives us the platform we can build upon to win games. There wasn't a failure in the team tonight. Gordon was also superb, pulling off a number of good saves.

The stars of the show, however, were Tierney (his goal was superb), McGregor, and once again, Ryan Christie! That boy is turning out to be the find of the season, and makes such a difference to the speed and dynamics of our team, particularly our forward play, but he was all over the park tonight, making crucial tackles in defence and midfield. Man of the match for me, along with McGregor.

Edouard was also superb and took his goal well. He's beginning to look like he's capable of filling Dembele's boots (along with adding his own particular talents), and he's getting stronger and more confident with each passing game. We've still got a lot of work to do to qualify for the knockout stages, but we've got a chance, and the signs now are that we're back to our best, so that augurs well for the year ahead!

Rangers deserved to get at least a point from their game (I watched most of it on BT Sport). Morelos' goal should've stood, to make it 4-2, and if it had, it would've been a different match. Sadly though for Rangers, their shocking defending cost them the game, which Gerrard's defensive shuffling seems partly responsible for, but there were also some howlers. Had it not been for Allan McGregor pulling off some good saves, they'd have conceded more.

Overall, Gerrard's managing the team pretty well, and there's no doubt that Rangers have improved considerably since last season, but he's still got a lot to learn, which is currently being highlighted by his tactical naivety. It'll be interesting to see how things pan out after the crucial Christmas period is over. I always feel that, come January, you get a pretty good indication of the teams who are most likely of taking the prizes, and hopefully by then we'll already have secured the League Cup trophy!

And now - what did you make of the defensive performances of the likes of Tavernier and Goldson?

Is Tavernier a defender? IMO, no, but he's a great player going forward and is responsible for a lot of Rangers' creativity.

I like Goldson he’s been great for us so far, Tavernier as you say is great going forward, however the main issue is left back, can’t believe he is still playing Flanagan who was responsible for at least 2 of the goals. We lost a game that was ours to win

A better performance against a really dirty Motherwell side. Some of their Tatics targeting Morelos and then the young lad attakai were disgusting. It's about time this was kicked out of our game.

Yup mate, excellent result. I didn't see the game, so can't comment on Motherwell's dirty tactics, but you had the last laugh gubbing them 7-1!

I think we were a little tired after our exertions on Thursday night, but still managed a point at Livingston (a hard place to go these days and a get a result). They defended extremely well throughout the match and their keeper made numerous excellent saves to keep it goalless.

However, normal service has been resumed at the top of the table, albeit on our considerably superior goal difference, thanks to Kille pumping Hearts yesterday (haha)... Poor old Levein can't buy a win at the moment. Their 'title challenge' will be over before the Christmas lights come down!
