Im chuffed with ebay because Ive managed to buy vintage Manchester City patches from the 60s 70s and 80s. When I do turn up at the Etihad stadium it will be like Ive been at every game. I will try and make out Im an old timer that has never been away from my seat...stories of Mike Doyle and the League Cup 1976

I will have my Maine Road Marvels and Books Blue army patches etc on my scarf.

I think there was someone called Helen who used to ring a bell at the goal end at Maine Road. Probably not with us now. I want to meet characters like that again and hope it hasnt become too cold and corporatised.

Were just passing and saw the lights on. Kids wanted then to go so they went in on spec.

Yeah, brilliant result for Rangers in particular, away from home to a very good Spanish team. I saw the whole of the second half and they were unlucky not to win it. Still, a draw was good, but most importantly the performance was excellent, bits of the first half aside.

Yes, Celtic scraped a 1-0 win, with an 87th winner from substitute Griffiths, *but* defensively aside (and Scott Brown), the team were poor, with too many players looking jaded and off-form, particularly Edouard who I think is struggling to handle the pressure of his £9m price tag, and to live up to the expectations necessary, plus he's not suited to playing the lone striker role, in the way of Dembele. He needs to feed off another striker.

And unless Rodgers alters the system to accommodate Griffiths, it's not going to work, and the team will continue struggling to score goals, as indeed they've done so far all season, which isn't something you normally say about Celtic!

On the plus side, the defence is as solid as it's been in a long time, with Boyata a different player since returning from the World Cup (and recovering from his 'wee strop'), and Benkovic looking every inch a £13m defender. His range of passing and reading of the game is sublime, and we're very lucky to have him! If both him and Boyata can remain injury free, they'll form a formidable partnership.

Anyway, both Rangers and Celtic are keeping the Scottish flag flying in Europe for a while longer yet!
