they were a difficult team to break down, but you mostly controlled the game. they will be obliged to come out a bit at home i would think so may be easier to nick one or 2.
i see mcginn is away to villa(my villa mate is very happy lol). cant help feeling that was a mistake by the celtic board; not just in losing the player, who im sure will become more valuable, but it may irk the manager and thus pass down to players.

In terms of the first bit, possibly (and hopefully), but I'd have been more confident had Dembele been fit. In terms of the last bit, most definitely, although I doubt it will affect the manager or players, Rodgers simply isn't the type to do, or allow that.
It's Celtic's own fault though that they let McGinn go, by low-balling so much with their offers to Hibs. I think they offered £3m for him, so how much did he go for to Villa? They could've easily afforded more, as the £9m they paid for Edouard was essentially 'free', due to the sell-on fee that they received from Van Dijk. And Neil Lennon was quite right in holding out for the highest bid, and also ultimately, if at all possible, not wanting to sell to one of his rivals.
Therefore, in reality, Celtic have spent hee-haw so far this season - a season where they knew that they had to potentially go through a very difficult extra round in the CL qualifiers. Let's hope (for Celtic's sake) that Rodgers has another similar quality of midfielder up his sleeve, and can bring him in before the window closes, and also can get Arzani in, as otherwise, even if we do get to the CL proper, we'll be well short of the quality we need to have a hope of doing anything!
