There's a lot of business being done nowadays - the CFA is a business in its own right, and Arzani being signed from Melbourne might turn out to be similar to Aaron Mooy being signed not so far back.
Someone has been watching him play, and thinks he might blossom in tougher leagues.
CFG will give him the opportunity to catch Guardiola's eye next closed season, and in between now and then he needs to go out and build a reputation for himself.
Rodgers doesn't look to be too crestfallen with the situation

No, as I'm pretty sure he'll be an excellent addition to the team, particularly if he links up well with this Oz team mate, Rogic. If Arzani is in a similar ballpark, quality-wise, to Paddy Roberts, and as successful at Celtic as he was, I'll be delighted!

I stick by everything I wrote earlier. Rangers have just drawn with a tired Aberdeen team, who'd come back from having played extra time in a tough match on Thursday, against Burnley in Europe, and simply weren't at the races until they threw caution to the wind at the end, to try and salvage a point, which they duly did.

But although Rangers did well enough with 10 men, and created a couple of chances to extend their lead, they were hardly "a class above". They did ok but ultimately only left with a point. For "a class above", see how Celtic played with 10 men against Rangers last season at Ibrox... Sorry, not being biased here, simply a realist.

I like Gerrard, and predict he'll be a success at Rangers, but in future he'll need to take off his blue-tinted specs, and be a little more realistic in his appraisal of his team during post-match interviews!

You know full well how I think about the glorious past.
Historical records of success are all well and good, but it's history, and means sod all on the field.
What happens in the here and now is all that matters.

Last time I was up close to the Premier League Trophy I looked at the names of all the teams that have won it.
There were no clubs beginning with L on it.
Since then Leicester have won it, so that's changed - there's a team won it with a name beginning with L

Last season was great to witness, but that's now history.
My head starts to spin just thinking of the points accrued, and the records broken - it was a truly remarkable season, but that is now history, and it won't win us the next game.

All that matters for me right now is that the team prepare well and beat Arsenal next weekend.
