“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

great strike, but only if it goes in or very close. that lad is a good prospect tho, and at 22 is close to first team now or never i guess. Foden i really like too, and for an 18 year old has world at his feet if he keeps his head on his shoulders

That lad put in some excellent performances last season, yet for some reason Pep doesn't seem to rate him.
He was set up for a loan move this season, and decided not to sign on the dotted. I'm pleased that he didn't.

Foden did well in both cup games, although he spent much of the second game warming the bench.

was hoping to get a player or two up on loan but think Celtic spoiled it for us

Amazing what a manager who makes his players happy to work for him can do. Ole gunner makes it 6 from 6. A bit lucky in second 45 but de gea was inspired.
Guess that's spurs down as bottlers again but it was really utds desire to win

Yeah, absolutely. Chris won't agree, of course, but the EPL needs a strong Man Utd, and for us neutrals it also makes things more interesting!
