Arsenal may do better this year. Think I had them in 4th in my preseason order, with Man U in 5th and Chelsea in 3rd.
Obviously no games played yet so just early thoughts. City are more stable so get vote initially from Liverpool

Had killy, hearts rangers and dons in that order too although that's still to be given serious thought after a few games to see how players bed in. Think the teams could all be in with a shout for second for a while. 1st should be beyond any for this season at least but you never say never in both leagues

For me the defence of a title is the elusive one!
It hasn't been done in a decade, and the last time was by our neighbours from Trafford.
That is number one priority - defend that title.
The thing is, with Guardiola at the helm we won't be doing it by playing defensive football. It will be done in the belief that attack is the best form of defence.

I believe that I'm going to be seeing some astonishing football this coming season.
First home game is against Huddersfield weekend after next, and I can barely wait

..Croatia defender Borna Barisic is having Rangers medical at moment. left back, but can play across the line i think. He played 2 games against us in europe recently... 3 caps so should be decent. certainly played well against us.
..I take it Declan John will maybe be going, probably on loan. I expect Flanagan to move to right and Tavernier maybe out on wing.

Absolutely. I've no idea why you're bringing this up though, as I was referring to the here and now.

Here and now (as well as in the past) I've always been a Liverpool and Celtic supporter, since the days of great Scots in the Liverpool team, such as Hansen, Souness and Dalglish, when Liverpool dominated Europe, not just England. That's why, here and now, I want Liverpool to win the EPL this season, same as I did last year, and the year before that, etc...

Last time I was up close to the Premier League Trophy I looked at the names of all the teams that have won it.
There were no clubs beginning with L on it.

Well, since you've brought it up, last time I was up close to the European Cup/CL trophy, I looked at all the names of the teams that have won it. There were no clubs beginning with 'M" on it.... No, hang on, there was.......It was MANCHESTER UTD!

There was even a team on it, beginning with 'C', representing a wee group of Glasgow daftees, who won it the year after England won the World Cup, but try as hard as I could, I couldn't find 'Manchester City' on it anywhere...

It would be interesting to know how much Gerrard has spent so far on signings. Have any transfer fees been mentioned? if so, any idea how much has been spent?

About 8 million plus wages etc and probably some payoffs.

Oh yes plus sign on fees think the 2 croats were about 2 mil or so each. Goldson was over 3. Murphy was 1. Rest have been frees or loans
