Plus, I think some of the EPL teams who've come to Celtic Park on Champions League duty, and were either beaten or given a damn good game, in that respect most recently Man City, would've taken Celtic, thus Scottish football, 'seriously'.
And last week Burnley only just put out Aberdeen in the Europa League, over two legs and extra time, despite them being in a totally different financial league, so I'm sure they'd also have taken Aberdeen 'seriously. I could go on...

Defender Steven Caulker is also supposedly on Gerrard's radar. think he was a product of Spurs academy and has looked good in his spell with Dundee..
Arman Hozdic is one of the Bosnians ..not sure who the other one is....Think he was at Liverpool at one time as Robin says so Gerrard will know him... only 23 and his career has stalled of late, with his rating going down to 85...still a lot of potential there I think.

I think our teams are inclined to do rather better in one of games in Europe than they would on a daily grind. Trouble is, they bring issues with them, and obviously would harm the interests of English sides, and are thus not welcome.... which is, as unfair as it seems, a correct decision for me.
I do think Euro competitions need revising badly tho.
