    You have it set on reverse polarity I think. Have a look at the mode dial and it'll sound even better!

    I don't know whether you know but the phono stage automatically adjusts the gain required for each MC cartridge.

    I figured out the reverse polarity Geoff and you were right !

    No, I didn't know that the MC stage auto adjusted, but it would explain a lot. Well impressed.

    Those are some handsome speakers! (The last one) And I love the crossovers in the cigar box, that gives me ideas for my own design I’m hoping to build some day soon.
