Copper amp by Tube Distinctions. Uses KT150's. Case work is pure copper and its mega heavy.
Sounds sublime. Best amp I've ever had.

Looks beautiful, but DB tests?
A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

I've considered one of these in the past as my endgame amp but the small amount of serious listening time I get without the kids means it's just not worth it. But the hypnotic effect of sitting there with the lights down watching those meters still appeals greatly...

That's a cracking amp, the Luxman. I'd personally prefer this model to their class A offerings.

Tandberg 3002 into EX Labs DX S40 Tripath amp. It just sounds right to me and I have no urge to make any changes for the first time in a while. My new dac from Pfm (by Raindrop Hui, using 4x WM8740 chips) sounds great for peanuts too.
