Couldn't agree more, and I'm not a "footie." It was glaringly obvious.

A hard lesson learned by them I guess and adds to experience.

It's an English side that looked pretty decent though which is good and can hold their heads up this time.

If we'd have made the final we wouldnt have beaten France who will go on to win in my view.

In fairness, the Croatians weren't an inferior team, Modric, Rakatic etc. play for top clubs and changed the way they played in the second half to neutralise our wide players in midfield, we missed that final killer touch which will come with experience, if we had it then we would have killed the Croatians off in the 1st half. Hopefully the press won't tear the team to pieces, we were beaten not by a better team but by a more experienced team that have played that level of competition at club level.

Croatia just looked to have more staying power, maybe the extra experience was the difference.

I think France will win it now though.

You must be joking, this was a bit like Leyton Orient vs Real Madrid. Sorry to say this, and I am not a Croatian supporter.

England was hopeless tonite, even if it would lead 3:0 after 20 mins (which was possible), this would ended 3:4.

That would be the hopeless England that were winning until the 68th minute and didn't go behind until the 109th minute? Yeah, okay.

Sorry but I reacted to the bold statement that Croatia was "decidedly inferior team". Maybe you watched some other game.

Was a fairly close affair as you would expect. Croatia just had edge on mental and physical fitness plus skill for me.
So my pick is now out and I expect if France play as they can and have then they should win

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
