    A lovely pair of speakers! I assume the foam grilles have disintergrated? My Dad has a pair in black and the foam covers are long gone, I seem to remember they had one or two green stripes down one side and those bits failed first. He still has them and they are still very underrated speakers IMHO.

    Yes, they are small. I sent my Cheviots away for some work to be done and borrowed the Royds a couple of years ago. At that time I was using Naim 202/ 200. The Royds sounded great with the 200 gripping them. I had them sitting on the floor as you can see if you twist your neck (sry about that)
