    Why (after you've spent hours getting them just so...) do speaker stands have to be moved when hoovering?
    Surely the base stops any detritus from landing on the carpet?

    Use the spike holes to raw bolt them to the floor

    120kg floor-standers made of slate soon stop that kind of thing.
