    I love both Christmas and wintertime, but right now I've got my 'summer head' on [nice weather, holidays, etc], so that's what I'm concentrating on!

    That'll change in October, which is when I put my 'winter head' on, but until then, feck yer santa....

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Well, given that we get together annually with two other couples for a Christmas some time in the middle of the year (it’s a long story...!) I must correct Al - in fact, it’s only 3 weeks until ‘Christmas’!
    Engineers: fixing problems you didn't know you had in ways you don't understand.

    Usually this news would leave me numb but I'm on the lookout for a new tonearm and I'll be able to justify it by telling myself it's my Christmas pressie to myself.
