    Hmm. At what comparative level I wonder. I remember these speakers and they did go deep, but I suspect any output extending that low will be very curtailed. Not that many recordings will have bass that deep on them.

    I think I've got a review and measurements of these somewhere.


    16Hz will be many dB down I suspect. I'll see if I can dig it out.

    Indeed. One or two reviews I remember reported cavernous bass, but tuneless..

    Well, after thoughtful analysis, and a two-minute warning from SWMBO I will not continue with the TDL refurbishing project. If anyone is interested please PM. If not, these will go to a landfill by end of month.

    Are you in the US? Can you try the DIY audio forum and maybe another US audio forum if anyone knows a good one? These speakers are quite rare and sought after and should not be destroyed.

    PR is Puerto Rico I think.
    I agree with Lawrence. You won't have too much trouble finding someone who will be interested in them, especially for free. A crime to bin them.
