Sony NWA35 or Fiio X3 v3?
Hi,
Looking for some real world experience based advice please.
I currently use my LG G5 with the HiFi Plus slot-in DAC and Amp, with a pair of B&W P5 Series 2 headphones to play my FLAC audio. I'm very happy with the way it sounds, but I'm now looking to separate my listening into a dedicated Hi Res portable audio player.
The price of both the Sony NWA35 and the Fiio X3 v3 are right about where I want to be, and I'm hoping someone can advise which I should be leaning toward.
I listen to mostly rock music, some jazz, a bit of blues too, and I like a tight and punchy sound, without it being too bright/harsh, or having an artificial 'bloom' in the midrange.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Cheers, Mark.

I have both versions of the Fiio X1 and am really happy with them but its worth looking up comments on each FiiO model as there does seem to be some issues with some models.
Both of my units came free with a subscription to Hi_Fi World at the Bristol show but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either as I have had no problems and the sound is great very natural but powerful if that makes sense

I have X3iii and am very pleased with it, especially the balanced output using either Fiio FH1 & F5 IEMs.
Another option might be the new Fiio M7 which is due to land with UK distributers mid June.

Thanks for the replies chaps.
I love the way the Sony looks, but the X3iii seems technically superior.
How is the iPod 'Classicesque' interface in operation?

I like the X3iii interface, it works pretty well.
