Default MERIDIAN M2 active speakers & stands

.... the buyer thought they had a usb connection FfS

I’m very liable to change my mind about letting one of you enjoy these.
They sound absolutely wonderful to myself and all who hear them .
All original drivers etc and on their original adjustable stands.
These are not mint cosmetically though they are perfectly acceptable in their listening positions .
I have included photos of the worse bits, I’ll add that I’m considered a fussy bugger.
    Snooze you lose ....ok ?
Oh and I’ve fitted new acoustic transparent fabric to their grills too.
Tweeters diffraction foam now removed , little bits of the black veneer on the baffles have come off ( common on these )
Collection and demo only at Milton Keynes.
I’d like £400. Price dropped. please PM if interested
    Have a great day .

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I bet these sound great, I had some M3's a while ago and the sounds they produced out of a small cabinet was incredible. A brief fling admittedly but still great.

You have to put a serious pre-amp in front of these to realise how special they are. I lived with them more than happily for 20 years, put them in the cupboard for years to :upgrade? Took them out and stuck a pre on that cost mutiples of what they did and realised I had done them an injustice for all those years. For what they sell for, there is nothing that comes remotely close to this day!
