Mate you have to hear this , I’ve owned the pm4 before and stupidly let it go and I loved it then with some ns1000’s and too many others to remember.
Then I got the JR149’s and something told me that the pm4 would go well with them then low and behold one pops up for sale ( I grab it )and boy was I right ( for a change)
I’ve had some real nice Hifi in the past and still do but this ... this is it for me

I’ll be hooking up my newly acquired technics sl-1210 mk2 tomorrow as soon as I can buy some vinyl, can’t wait for that but kinda hope it won’t be good as I really need to let the tt go.

My ultimate marantz purchase would be a pair of Model 7 monoblocks or the Model 7T preamp

I can only dream of that kind of equipment. I am thinking about a pm5 I’ve been offered but then there’s also a pm6a lurking about in a far distant land with my name on it

The Marantz looks gorgeous, I love vintage Marantz, I've got an early eighties cassette deck and after a good service and new belts is still sounds great although it doesn't get much use now.

Be interested to see a nudie of the marantz, have the caps been upgraded? Worth checking out with any vintage class a amp.
