Valves and vinyl really do seem to have some synergy and can project a really special musical experience. It's not just warmth but a reality to the sound that I found often lacking in SS gear and certainly lacking in digital set ups.

Unfortunately i never heard a J.Wood amp , but felt the affect of one. After picking up Al's amp from Anthony, i stayed at a friends house. Carrying that amp up a steep 100ft long front garden with a few sets of steps along the way, left me feeling crushed, and i'm 6ft+, and strong....
A great amp by all accounts. Well done Jamie.. you bought a keeper i think.
