I reckon it is possible to be too fussy and anal at the same time! If it worries you though, best say goodbye!

    Same principle with relationships BTW!

My AT 33 PTG II is out by the same amount. I can't hear any channel imbalance and it sounds fine to my ears. Filed it under 'CBA' as life's too short...

Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do - you'll be a mile away. And have his shoes.

Wavy grooves go thru a RigB 540ML on an SL1500C. Digits stream from a cheapie CDP and a Sonos, into a Yamaha 803D driving Kralk Audio little 'uns. I used to have a Linn but I'm better now.

If you are the kind of guy who obsesses about things then returning it would be a good idea I think, if not just enjoy it if it sounds good.

the CBA attitude rather depends on what i'd paid for this supposedly 'never been used' cartridge.
fortunately i could be arsed and today received a refund, the seller was genuine and honest enough to do that.

If it has given you 'peace of mind', then fair enough.

A friend of mine was unhappy with a Benz cartridge he had bought on ebay. There was a problem with channel imbalance (I could hear it), however the seller was decent enough to provide a full refund.

I agree Jamie and wasn't meant as a criticism. As I couldn't hear anything wrong (and there might be!) I left alone. But the offset bugs me, visually! So I totally understand your concerns.
