I don't think you'll have any bother driving them. They are quite similar to my old SL600si speakers and my 15 watt EL34 monos had them belting the sounds out.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
Interesting guess experimentation is key think I'll be good ultimately my choice of what i choose but others opinion on them on a Facebook group they recommend Audiolab Monos , and Krell as the designers of the SL series used them for testing Yikes reading the HI Fi news review its not recommended to drive them above 200 WPC from manufacturer
watch this space the thrill is trying legendary kit such as the SL's a beautiful and revolutionary design IMHO

Those Wharfefales are very interesting. Basically the Wharfedale version of the Leak 2060 as far as I can tell.
