Default NEC S637E Speakers...wot happend to them Dantheman?

Hi ya...your input always amuses me...thank you.....
but looking at your previous stock pile of hifi goodies, I noticed you used to have a pair of NEC S637E's?

Rang a nostaglic moment..I was 18 (back in the dark ages), just got my driving ticket to ride...got a new motor (old fiat 127) drove to London Bridge to the first Richer Sounds shop and bought a pair of these NEC S637E's

Big heavy 10" Bass. Midrange+ horn tweeter speakers...that got replaced by a pair of Wharfedale Dovedale's + Rogers Cadet 3 etc...rest is history ...Still got them round me mums house..Surrounds on bass unit have seen better days...but then again, so have I!

    Hi Don

Thank you my dad still has the NECs and have done Stirling service and they sound fantastic getting rare I know they were not popular when released which is strange as I would call tje m high end the Authentic series from NEC has a cult following very good indeed.

I've decided to settle down and enjoy the music as the gear was taking over the music so I'm keeping a mix of gear just thrown together a Nad 3020 , Sony WM FX10 and Teac LS X8 MK2 impressive
