    Default Cordless Vacuum cleaner

There is a need for a new vacuum cleaner and cordless is what I'm after. This is for Tango whose is very hairy

Dyson and Vax seem the obvious choices so I'm wondering what other pet lovers amongst us may be using?

    Cheers.

I've got a GTECH Air ram which is very good at picking up cat hairs but is limited as it's just an upright vacuum cleaner. I bought a Vax Pro Blade on the cheap during Black Friday as it is much more versatile but I've found the suction and battery life not as good as the GTECH. Also the dust containers fill up very quickly on both of them......maybe it's just very dirty here HA!. The best vacuum cleaner I've ever had and still do have is the orange Vax wet and dry cleaner, not cordless but could probably suck a golf ball through a hose pipe. Whichever one I use poor little Mia the cat goes into hysterics and hides for a couple of hours.

I use a G Tech K9 which is cordless and designed for pet hairs (hence the name!). Works brilliantly and very well made. Highly recommended.

Not all their products are good, though. Last year I bought a GTech long pole hedge trimmer to help tackle some of my hedges. It received top billing in a Which report and certainly scored with it's low weight. Problem was, it was so feeble that it would only cut the wispy, fresh growth on the bushes and anything slightly woody or over 2 - 3 mm was beyond it's capabilities and it would stall.

I returned it within the 7 days trial period and they charged me £10 handling. That rather put me off buying a GTech handheld vacuum cleaner.

for £130 with the wall bracket and motorised head included that is a great price for a refurb that are usually just like new.

Are they good though? It seems to me that they are a second cleaner to something heavier which beats the carpet more...you know the big Hoover and Sebos of a certain weight.

Im just running an Electrolux 700W at the moment but I do fancy the look of those Dysons. Cord free would be lovely if it just clips into a wall mounted charging bracket
