Bryston has announced that they will be working in collaboration with StormAudio, an audio hardware manufacturer based in France, enabling both companies to, they day, “leverage their respective design and manufacturing expertise in an array of new product offerings”. As a byproduct of the cooperative effort, Bryston will be unveiling an SP4 surround processor

The Bryston SP4, seen pictured below, will be a 16.2-channel processor and allow customers to add four additional channels. It will support all the latest immersive surround formats, such as Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D and DTS:X as well as legacy formats.

The SP4 processor will also feature Dirac Live room correction, giving home theater enthusiasts access to the latest technologies within a Bryston home theater. We're expecting to see the Bryston SP4 for sale in the second quarter of 2018.

We're hoping to get more information closer to the launch date, once we know something you'll know!
