Can we not just divide the country down the middle a la east and west Germany and all the New Puritans (who, ironically, are atheists to a man) can live in one half in their little Orwellian nightmare and the rest of us will carry on like normal people in the other half? The side that has to build a wall and lay minefields to keep their population in loses.

Tanks Geoff that may be a two edged sword but I am really pissed off whit the pot holes in Liverpool.

Yes James clearly it does not distract you or me but how much energy is wasted and diverted from the big issue?

I think it is an important issue. As usual there are things much worse but instead something relatively harmless gets canned as a measure to somehow combat the real issue. We have kids growing up with a very distorted and disturbing view of what a relationship is, sexual or otherwise. Would it not have been better for F1 to swing it’s resources behind a campaign to combat this. “Here’s a bit of glamour to the proceedings and here is something else that you also have to understand in it’s context (porn), otherwise you will have the wrong idea of what a relationship is”....

Perhaps F1 is going to repeat what they did in the States, and de dignify the drivers by introducing them through the glory hole complete with smoke maker.

Let's think laterally if we had a big canal, and we put all the New Puritans on one side....say France, , all normal people on this side, we can live normally.
