Crap Weather For February!

Aside from that though, it wouldn't take much to plug a portable heater into a wall socket in the kitchen, to keep it warm there, but I suppose it just doesn't bother you. I simply couldn't function if I was working all day, and was coming home tired at night to a cold house (in winter). It would really get me down.

No, they don't live near. Liverpool and Nottingham. I do have friends I could potentially impose on, trouble is the amount of time it will take. If it was two weeks then I might consider asking a friend, but asking someone to put you up for three months is taking the piss. I couldn't cope with that anyway. I like my solitude.

Didn't leave loft hatch open last night, result: feed to upstairs toilet frozen. Have to watch as it thaws out.

Can't use the bath at the moment. The waste pipe out has frozen up. It should thaw out later, as temperatures are due to rise.

You'll have to use something else to brew your gin in then.

Nah, he uses the kitchen sink for that, along with washing his socks [which give the gin some extra 'flavour']
