    Well as the amp is spares or repairs an Amstrad midi system would sound better you can probably find something similar on rubbish day if you look round

    My Audio Note ANJ's came to less then that lot now thats hard to beat no joke £40 in 2013 - £20 to refoam the drivers and still using them today they are on as i type..plenty of gear gear out their you just have to time it right ..

    That certainly was a bargain.

    Mind you I've posted links to a whole system, which even allowing extra for cables, costs less than some people spend on a fuse or plug

    I've got a mint Pioneer PL-15 in the loft that cost me £3 at a boot sale, a tidy pair of Philips MCD708 ribbon tweeter compact speakers that also cost me £3 from a charity shop and my lovely little Technics SU-C04 integrated amp at £4 from a boot sale. So that's £10 for the whole system.

    (the amp is the best bit actually, sounds like a Sugden A21)
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
