Second sale of the day, one I don't go to regularly and from two rows away I spot what looks like a Quadraspire rack, I rush over and beneath the makeup and glassware it was being used to display was a very nice Quadrapsire Q4EVO, having pointed out that nobody else was likely to even recognise what it was let alone buy it I got it for £12, looks like the second system is getting a rack upgrade.

Just picked up a pair of JBL Control 1's in silver from local car boot. Only £15, could be a bargain, providing that they work! Haven't tried them yet.

Then will come the dilemma, whether to sell them on, or keep. If they are a keeper, I would have to do something about that silver finish, I couldn't live with that. They look like they belong in a 90's home-cinema-in-a-box. Only question is, which colour would sound best?
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

    A few weeks back
Also picked up a mega bargain pair of boxed unused 6 x 9" infinity 9603i car speakers £15
Been looking for some for the caravan as it has just poxy little 4" ones that sound crap
Was at the caravan for the week end so installed them the next day
What a difference in sound quality
