It seems these folk think that looking young is the be all and end all. Without realising that often young people can be ugly as f__k.

As these "procedures" become more affordable, they are becoming more and more commonplace. Thankfully not to that degree, but I fear it is a slippery slope and can lead to a body "dismorphia" (or a word similar to that).

I count myself lucky as I have had a face like a dropped pie for most of my life, and am quite used to it

Best tips for staying looking young involve NO surgery or make-up whatsoever:

1) Drink lots of water.

2) Get lots of sleep.

3) Eat healthily - DO NOT smoke!

4) Avoid stress.

5) Exercise regularly/get plenty of fresh air.

6) Feel genuinely fulfilled/happy and contented with life, and so more prone to smiling than frowning.

And, if you've clearly put on weight (and/or have a protruding beer belly) ENBRACE REALITY, and stop trying to squeeze into the same size of trousers you wore 15 years ago, by wearing them further and further down your waist, towards your feet!

On the flipside though, what is it with youngsters now sporting big, bushy 'granddad beards', wearing 'granddad shirts', etc, and generally wanting to look three times their age? Jeezuz... When I was their age, I wouldn't have looked like that if you'd paid me!

It's NOT a good look, or particularly clever either, just because it's 'fashionable'. Take a good look in the mirror, 'trendy boys', and you'll see a TWAT staring back, so get the fuzz shaved off and wear something decent
