Bright and chilly here too. The temperature has dropped a degree since I got up, it's down to 2C at the moment.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Just stopped snowing now since I last reported otherwise... It's now a good 5 inches thick, where it's drifted, and about 3 inches elsewhere. We shall see what the remainder of the day brings!

Just lit the wood burner, and made a nice bed inside it of smokeless coal, topped with logs (central heating is already on), so will soon be nice and toasty, listening to choons with a nice mug of frothy cappuccino!

    It's a hard life, lol

Well, Del came home an hour or so ago, as the college where she teaches was being closed, due to the adverse weather conditions, so that's her finished work for the day

Consequently, she's cooking us a nice lunch (homemade southern fried chicken, with corn in the cob and creamed mashed potatoes, which I'll post a pic of later in the food thread).

    Happy days!

Only has to hold off for another 90 minutes and then I am home safe and sound. We can have another ice age after that for all I care.

Made it. Just in time, there is less than an inch of snow but it is starting to freeze over.

Cool Earler this morning at Marco Towers....

It's considerably snowier than that now, but I couldn't be arsed going out in the cold again to photograph it!
