Yes, Chambord is the black raspberry liqueur which is just wonderful stuff. Remember that if you come across it in a cocktail recipe, the quantity suggested will never be enough – always double it! Also, supermarkets only seem to sell it in stupid 37.5cl bottles which is ridiculous. You have to go online (or to Costco) to get it in 70cl bottles.
As to the Hotel Chocolat flavours, I think you can’t really beat the Classic 70% and the Hazelnut. The Salted Caramel is also good but is more of an occasional fancy rather than something I’d drink regularly. When it comes to hot chocolate, I always think simple is best, but the dark ones are just a touch too bitter for my liking.

I agree with you about the best flavours, although I was rather taken by the mint (as I've always liked mint in chocolate, with After Eight mints and such like), but haven't tasted the Hazelnut, which I suspect I'd also like.
However, yes the Velvetiser is a great little device and without doubt a valued addition to my 'bar/drinks area' in the kitchen - the only bit Del will allow me to be in charge of!
