    I don't normally buy blends, have just ordered a 1 KG bag of this on Boss mans recommendation , Better be good or the boys will be round

    Also expecting this as well

    Lol - 1kg of beans lasts me about 3 months! But then I only drink one large cup of cappuccino a day...

    When you guys open bags of beans, and use some to make coffee, do you immediately pour the rest into large airtight containers, or just seal up the bags? I always do the former

    i used to top mine with inert gas to keep oxygen off them but the gas became expensive to a point its cheaper tossing whats left of the bag when they dont taste as good.

    Yup. Those containers don't stop oxidation. I have a load of them but don't use them for coffee.

    I use a Vacuvin storage jar when I open a large bag of beans.

    used the gas with kilner jars. worked well, but if you add up cost, its cheaper buying a big bag and disposing of when its past its best, if you havent drunk it all. reckon a kg lasts about 4/6 weeks depending on usage so not bad value

    I only make a small opening in the bag , when I use some I squeeze out the air fold the top over several times then stick it down , Works for me
