Rave. I am a bit lost on Rave. I thought quite good and that's it. I think they are well over-hyped, way too much raving going on

HasBean and Extract are both considerably better.

IMHO of course. There's no accounting for taste buds or ears it would seem.

HasBean is on my list to try. What sort of coffee do you like? I like dark roast and drink both espresso and flat white. I like Rave's Italian Job in particular as well as Fudge. I think it's a Robusta in the IJ that I like. Is there a HasBean equivalent I should try? Blake or Jailbreak?

HasBean, Extract and the Rave stuff I had - 4 bags - are all what I would call medium roasts.

I have never had a dark roast from HasBean, and I have used them for a lot of years.

I would still try either though I'd I were you. Get the HasBean starter pack or choose a few bags from Extract. If Extract get Dr Strangelove. That is the most complex coffee I have ever come across.

The Climpson's stuff of yours I didn't get on with.

You might find the same with my recommendations but at least you will have tried something else.

My brother never seemed keen on HasBean. Mind you he likes his coffee roasted to oblivion. He roasts his own from Monsoon Malabar green beans. We bought him a coffee roaster.

Used to drink monsoon. Prefer the Italian blend too now but stick 30% of a dark one. Forgot its name. A blended blend. Works and just right mix for me.
