Returning to the Smeg, this is typical of the many online reviews, and pretty much sums up why I'm going to get one:
It seems that the only downside is that the milk frother isn't the best (well at the price it sells for, considering the machine's superb build quality, the cost-cutting has to occur somewhere), but that's cool, as I'll be keeping my current frother and using the Smeg in conjunction with that.
Aside from looks, for me, I just want something simple (non-tweaky), piss-easy to use, and which produces consistently great results! Red Dwarf? That's kinda cool, too...
