    Thought I would start this as we have a few coffee freaks here..


    I will open it with my latest coffee to pop through the door... Ethiopian Bifdu Gudina from Climpsons

    expensive but fancied a treat.. Heirloom variety majoring in Peaches, Honey and Violets

    I really like a quality cup of coffee but have to be careful as it's acidic nature tends to upset my delicate digestion. Nice to have a cup occasionally though.

    Yes, I occassionally suffer from IBS, which in turn causes IBS (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) Went to doc as I thought I might have a bladder infection (constant weeing) the doc has advised me to stay off caffeine for the time being. The one thing I love is a morning coffee using my Aeropress....Grrrrrr.

    got a bit of both of those too.. but I still try and have 1 a day. some milk helps I find.. not sure if decaffinated would help?

    The roasting and beans will make a big difference here. Go for an El Salvador, Cuban, or Mexican medium roast for example and they are not very acidic. Some beans like Kenya Blue Mountain are way too acidic for my tastes. Aeropress also keeps the acidity down vs machine I think.
