To confuse things more, I think the ECM are designed in Germany and made in Milan.
Either way, they are all good machines, but things like the stainless boilers swung it for me.

Yeah, trust the Germans to take design and build to the next level, for an iconic Italian machine.

Try Dr Strangelove from here and let us all know. Odd description of flavour but it is probably bullshit and won't really taste as described (as we all know).

No idea whether it's good but it is localish for me. Waitrose magazine seems to rate it.

I am going to try something from there sooner or later.

OK, you were right - it's delicious! Used it for our Sunday morning lattes, and didn't tell my wife..."Mmmmm! Yum! What's in this?!".

Thanks for the nudge to try it. No going back now
Hehehe... Nice one! Just shows you what we've been missing all these years, posing as 'milk'

    Enjoy!

So right, Marco. Eye-opening, for sure, to have (finally) tasted milk the way it should be. This will be for weekends only, though, as it costs 4 times more than regular milk

But...my wife is friends with a few local dairy farmers in the area (long time team mates in a sports club here), and she is going to ask if they'd be willing to let us have some . We already get our eggs from them, so this might be doable. Never occurred to us to ask before (doh! ). Hope this works out.
